Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is confident Pierre-emierck Aubameyang will commit his future to the club this summer, as he has realised the team is kicking up again after Unai Emery left.
Aubameyang is already into that last year of his ongoing contract with the club. The Gabon striker had to put all negotiations on hold in late last year (2019), after a little progress was made in the negotiations. Though he scored twice in the finals and semi-finals respectively.
Arteta on the other hand is desperate to keep Aubameyang and has instructed the board to hand Aubameyang his outstanding £250,000, which will also ensure the Gabonese national bagged a 3 years contract extension that will keep him in Arsenal until 2023.

However, money has not really been the problem as the club feared earlier this year that Aubameyang might change his mind but now that it looks like the gunners can compete for the top place once again, Arteta is fully convinced that Aubameyang will sign a new deal with Arsenal.
Arteta on the otherhand has also been the reason for so many victories in other clubs which include Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea since his appointment and Aubameyang has profited from tactical methods.
Aubameyang has also scored 16 goals since the appointment of Arteta but the Gabonese hasn’t quite received the number of offers his representatives expected and this means that he is all set for The Emirates.
